Jameela Wahlgren is an illustrator, art director and educator from Philadelphia. She has a deep love for art that is spooky, fantastical, LGBTQ or historical. She is available for book cover and picture book assignments.
In 2016 she founded the Philadelphia Illustration Guild to serve as a hub for artists in the city. In the past she has worked with Magic the Gathering, Disney Hyperion, Norton Young Readers, Tundra Books, Hachette Book Group, National Geographic Kids and others.
